KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Implement tools to translate raw data into valuable business insights

  • Monitor ongoing use of data products to help the Data Analytics Manager make invest/divest decisions
  • Tests reports to ensure optimal user experience and data accuracy
  • Be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of your product

2. Be responsible to maintain a groomed backlog and use effective Agile processes (Scrum and Agile). 

  • Lead Scrum sprint planning, provides sprint goals and new user stories, gives feedback during the sprint review, drives information and learning in the daily scrum, and reflects and takes actions during the sprint retrospective. 


3. Partners and works with business stakeholders to define high impact analytical problems and find innovative ways to solve problems with data

  • Works with cross-departmental business partners, Data/BI engineers/ Data Architects/Platform Engineers and own the end-to-end delivery of the data products, which includes documenting and prioritizing user stories, demoing solution designs, testing, and releasing changes into a Production environment.
  • Provide ongoing support to stakeholders and end users of data products.
  • Develop user experience designs in the form of wireframes and mock-ups for stakeholder validation and execution by the team
  • Collaborate with the Enablement Specialist on product launch communication, training and enablement and ongoing product adoption tactics.
  • Support internal audits related to DW/BI systems
  • Other tasks allocated by direct managers

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • At least 2 years’ Agile Product Owner experience.
  • At least 1 years’ experience within Data Analytics (Data Warehouse, BI, ETL).
  • Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle
  • A keen eye for a good user experience and ability to create mockups
  • Familiarity with data engineering concepts such as ETL pipelines, data warehouse infrastructure, etc.
  • Familiarity with data visualization with BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik or Tableau
  • Proven experience of working effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational & time management skills
  • Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset
