KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Support Sector head/Senior analysts to produce commercial and timely research to provide quality, market leading output
- Focus on data analysis: Analyze and manage Industrials sector data based on Sector head insights.
- Collaborate on developing presentation materials for the Industrials team.
- Work with senior in the team to deliver new stock ideas and achieve stock coverage by:
+ Conducting thorough research on companies within the specified industries and their relevant sectors to ensure up-to-date information coverage
+ Company visits in support of ideas of existing or new coverage.
+ Building forecasts for cashflows, BS and P&L forecasts, three years out.
+ Developing robust valuation models.
+ Drafting or assisting in the creation of corporate notes and flashnotes covering news updates, financial results, and company developments.
2. Engage effectively with the client base
- Deal with direct research requests from clients under the supervision of Sector Head/Senior members of the team.
- Undertake company visits with clients.
- Make notes in companies calls, companies meetings or important meeting minutes.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Education level:
- Bachelor’s degree level at a minimum.
- CFA qualification is preferrable.
- Open for all levels
2. Knowledge & Experiences:
- Excellent knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods
3. Technical skills:
- Modelling and valuation techniques.
- Ability to convey complex ideas to a diverse client base, sales, and junior staffs.
- Ability to manage upwards as well as downwards without confrontation.
- People management and conflict resolution skills.
- Effective strategic thinking
- Effective business management, budgets etc.
- Writing and presenting effectively in English & Vietnamese.
