KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Deal Execution & Client Support
• Execute assigned workstreams across M&A and capital markets transactions (equity & debt), ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
• Develop, build, and maintain advanced financial models and valuation analyses (e.g. DCF, comparables, scenarios), ensuring accuracy, robustness, and applicability to transaction decisions
• Perform in-depth financial analysis, scenario modeling, and investment evaluation, assessing business performance, risks, and potential returns to support deal structuring and pricing
• Conduct comprehensive company, industry, and market research, integrating insights into financial models and transaction materials
• Prepare key transaction materials, including pitchbooks, information memoranda (IMs), teasers, and client presentations, ensuring analytical consistency and quality
• Support due diligence, data room management, and transaction documentation, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and alignment with regulatory and deal requirements
• Assist in client presentations, proposals, and deal coordination, contributing analytical insights throughout the transaction lifecycle
2. Team Support
• Work closely with Managers and deal team members, contributing to overall deal delivery
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all assigned deliverables
• Support effective team collaboration to maintain high standards of execution and analytical output
3. Team Guidance & Quality Control (non-people manager)
• Guide and mentor Senior Analysts and Analysts through deal execution
• Review deliverables to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality
• Provide technical guidance on modeling, valuation, and materials
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Educational level
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting or Economics, Law or an equivalent related field is required
• An MBA or a Master’s degree in Finance (preferably from an international institution), and/or professional certifications such as CFA or ACCA, are strongly preferred.
• Holder of a Financial Analysis Practicing Certificate issued by the State Securities Commission of Vietnam (SSC), or willing to obtain the required certifications in line with company requirements.
2. Professional Experience
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Private Equity, Securities, Research, or Investment Management, with exposure to the Vietnam market
• Proven experience in executing transaction workstreams, including M&A, IPOs, and DCM/ECM mandates, with strong involvement in financial analysis, valuation, and financial modeling
• Solid experience in developing financial models, preparing transaction materials, and supporting due diligence, contributing to high-quality deal execution across the transaction lifecycle
3. Professional Competencies/Knowledge
• Strong capability in financial analysis, valuation, and financial modeling (DCF, comparables), supporting investment evaluation and transaction execution
• Good understanding of M&A and capital markets transactions (ECM/DCM), with experience supporting deal processes and preparing transaction materials
• Solid knowledge of financial markets, securities products, and capital raising processes, including IPOs, placements, and bond issuance
• Strong understanding of financial statements, corporate finance concepts, and deal structuring fundamentals
• Ability to conduct company, industry, and market analysis, generating insights to support transaction decision-making
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements, due diligence, and transaction processes, ensuring accurate and compliant deal execution
• Working understanding of investor behavior and market dynamics, supporting deal positioning and client materials
4. Core Competencies
