KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build self-serve data products, pipelines, services to enable all functions of the business to have data-driven capabilities
• Implement scalable, high performance hosting solutions that meet the need of today’s corporate and digital applications using both private and public cloud technologies.
• Work with other Data Engineers, BI developers to design, and implement data solutions.
• Documents and maintains data governance activities, maintains logs, and records issues and corresponding resolutions.
• Build and expose metadata catalog for the Data Lake for easy exploration, profiling as well as lineage requirements.
• Build and maintain solutions to meet our customer‘s business needs for their data platforms.
• Perform daily monitoring and handling data-related technical issues and data infrastructure including source systems, Data Lake, ODS and EDW.
• Support internal audits related to DW/BI systems.
• Other tasks allocated by direct managers

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• At least 2 years’ experience working with any Cloud platforms
• Having good knowledge about RDBMS, BigData, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data model, OLTP, OLAP (Required)
• Experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling
• Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
• Strong understanding of databases and data structures.
• Strong analytical and time management skills.
• Ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
• Ability to write various documents such as functional requirements.
• Ability to compare technologies and make recommendations to senior members of the team.
• Understanding of privacy laws and regulations.
